Cold Room Storekeeper at Sunplast Industry Limited

Sunplast is a leading plastic manufacturing company in Nigeria with almost 30 years experience in the plastic manufacturing industry. Sun Group entered into the Plastics industry through the acquisition of a plant in Sango Ota, Ogun State in 1991. A second plant was installed and commissioned in 2000 in Lagos. In 2015 both plants were merged under one roof in Ogun State. The plants, which operate under the names Bright Products Limited and Sunplast Industries Limited, are equipped with top-of-the-line injection molding machines from China, India and Taiwan.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cold Room Storekeeper

Location: Ijesha, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Cold Room Storekeeper to manage the storage, handling, and inventory of products in the cold room facility.
• The ideal candidate will ensure proper stock control, maintain required temperature conditions, and ensure products are stored and handled in line with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and properly store products in the cold room.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement, including receipts, issues, and balances.
• Monitor and record cold room temperature to ensure products are stored under required conditions.
• Ensure proper arrangement and labeling of items for easy identification and retrieval.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and storage standards within the cold room.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams for stock dispatch and replenishment.
• Report damaged, expired, or missing items to management promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cold storage area.
• Ensure proper documentation of all stock transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, storekeeping, or cold storage operations.
• Knowledge of inventory management and stock control processes.
• Ability to work in cold storage environments and handle physical inventory tasks.
• Basic computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel or inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
