Job Title: Economics Educator

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• The Economics Educator is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in Economics at the secondary school level, fostering critical thinking, economic literacy, and ethical decision-making among learners.
• The role requires effective curriculum delivery, assessment, classroom management, and contribution to the overall academic and moral development of students.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Economics lessons in line with the approved curriculum (Cambridge / British / Nigerian curriculum as applicable).
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials that meet curriculum standards.
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Integrate real-life economic issues to enhance learners’ understanding and application of concepts.

Assessment and Reporting:

• Design, administer, and mark assessments (tests, assignments, examinations) in line with school policy.
• Maintain accurate records of learners’ academic progress.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to learners and parents.
• Prepare reports and contribute to academic review meetings.
• Classroom Management and Pastoral.

Requirement

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree.
