Job Title: Female Hostel Parent

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• A honest and God fearing hostel mistress that can handle our girls hostel who can handle the following responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Student Welfare and Discipline:

• Maintain a positive and caring environment for all hostel residents.
• Enforce hostel rules and regulations to ensure student discipline and safety
• Act as a mentor and counselor for learners, guiding personal, social, and academic concerns.

Health and Safety:

• Monitor students' health and liaise with medical personnel if required.
• Conduct regular safety checks within the hostel premises.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, room allocations, and inventories.
• Organize and supervise hostel events, activities, and outings.

Facility Management:

• Ensure the hostel premises are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and follow up to ensure repairs are completed.

Parental Communication:

• Communicate with parents regarding students' welfare, and conduct in line with the policies of the school.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education
• Passionate about children
• Previous experience working with young people
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage challenging situations effectively
