Job Title: Plant Manager (Power Generation & Distribution)

Location: Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Plant Manager is responsible for the planning, operation, maintenance, and expansion of the power generation and electrical distribution network within an industrial zone.
• The role ensures a safe, reliable, and efficient power supply to tenants and infrastructure while maintaining compliance with Nigerian regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of power generation units and electrical distribution systems, including substations, switchgear, transformers, and LV networks.
• Ensure reliable power supply and monitor system load, power quality, and network stability.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance for power generation and distribution assets.
• Coordinate new power connections, load approvals, and metering for tenants.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and enforce electrical safety procedures.
• Support planning and execution of network expansion and capacity upgrades.
• Lead and supervise engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Prepare operational reports and coordinate with internal teams on power operations and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• 8–10 years of experience in power generation, distribution, or industrial utilities.
• At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Strong experience with medium-voltage networks, substations, and industrial power systems.
• Experience in industrial zones, utilities, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
