Instrumentation and Controls Lead III - Offshore Rotation at Habrams Energy Services

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Instrumentation and Controls Lead III - Offshore Rotation

Location: Lagos

Main Functions

• Define scope for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, assign workloads, and implement standards/procedures for instrumentation across all project phases.
• Support centralized engineering services for upstream production units and new capital projects to maintain system safety, availability, and reliability while optimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers, vendors, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in HAZOP/LOPA and quality reviews.
• Review and approve instrumentation engineering deliverables, including P&IDs, datasheets, wiring, loop drawings, and calculations.
• Support project Acceptance Testing (AT) and adjust commissioning scope accordingly.
• Develop, track, and adjust commissioning execution schedules.

Skills & Qualifications

• MS or advanced Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory or related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of design standards, codes, and safety criteria.
• Skilled in instrument selection, control systems, P&IDs, logic diagrams, and ISA datasheets.
• Proficient in SAP, Tableau, Analytics for Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent English communication skills; adaptable to tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
