We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Machinery Engineer / Specialist II

Location: Lagos

Main Functions

• Evaluate and provide input on engineering work performed internally and by contractors to ensure compliance with company standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate discipline engineering and design routines while ensuring effective communication across teams.
• Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and mechanical teams.
• Identify reliability improvements to maximize equipment uptime and reduce maintenance costs.
• Specify new rotating equipment in line with industry and company standards.
• Ensure safe, cost-effective, and operable machinery and associated systems.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of design standards, codes, specifications, and safety criteria.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines and changing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent English communication skills.
