We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Pharmacist

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Oversee pharmaceutical warehouse operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient storage, handling, and distribution of medicines.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, product quality, regulatory compliance (PCN, NAFDAC, GDP), and operational efficiency while supporting order fulfillment and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure regulatory and professional compliance in all warehouse activities.
  • Supervise proper storage, handling, and distribution of medicines, including cold-chain and controlled products.
  • Manage inventory: receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.
  • Approve inbound/outbound products, monitor batch tracking, expiries, and documentation.
  • Lead investigations of stock discrepancies, damages, recalls, and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate audits, inspections, and internal quality reviews.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop, implement, and improve SOPs; train and supervise warehouse staff.
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs and prepare operational reports.
  • Maintain health, safety, and security standards.

Requirements

  • B.Pharm or PharmD from a recognized institution.
  • Registered and licensed with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical warehouse operations, distribution, or supply chain.
  • Knowledge of GDP, inventory management systems, and audit processes.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical distribution/wholesale or healthcare logistics is desirable.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in Ibadan and support extended operational hours.
