We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Environmental & Social Specialist
Location: Lagos
Role Overview
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct fieldwork, including site assessments and environmental data collection
- Analyse environmental samples and interpret findings
- Carry out Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
- Prepare detailed technical reports
- Provide environmental management consultancy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance and project success
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in fieldwork and environmental data collection
- Knowledge of wetlands and ecological systems
- Solid foundation in Environmental Science
- Experience conducting EIAs and preparing reports
- Background in environmental consulting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a hybrid team structure
- Experience with environmental regulations and compliance is an added advantage.
