Job Title: Sales Manager - FMCG

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and managing relationships with distributors and key retail accounts within the FMCG sector.
  • The role involves leading the sales team, executing sales strategies, and ensuring achievement of revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Manage and supervise the sales team, setting targets and monitoring performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand product distribution channels.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies.
  • Ensure effective product availability, merchandising, and visibility in the market.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis for management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to support product launches and promotions.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Good analytical, reporting, and market planning skills.
