Job Title: Human Resources Lead

Description

Role Summary

  • The Human Resources Lead will oversee the day-to-day HR operations of the business, ensuring effective talent management, employee engagement, compliance, and workforce performance.
  • This role will support leadership in building a structured, high-performance work environment, implementing HR policies, and strengthening employee experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Workforce Management:

  • Oversee daily HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management
  • Implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with organizational goals
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor regulations and workplace standards

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

  • Lead recruitment initiatives to attract and retain top talent
  • Develop workforce planning strategies that support business expansion
  • Improve hiring processes to ensure efficient talent acquisition

Employee Engagement & Performance Management:

  • Support leadership in implementing performance management systems
  • Promote employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives
  • Address employee relations matters and support conflict resolution

Policy Development & HR Systems:

  • Develop and implement HR frameworks that strengthen operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate employee documentation and HR data management
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies across departments

Training & Organizational Development:

  • Identify skills gaps and coordinate staff development initiatives
  • Support leadership in building strong teams and leadership capability

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • Professional HR certification e.g., CIPM is an added advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably within retail, fashion, or consumer-facing industries
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR operations, recruitment, and employee relations
  • Experience supporting growing or fast-paced organizations.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 monthly.
