Job Title: Activation Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Purpose of the Job

  • To develop and execute brand activation strategies and promotional campaigns that enhance brand visibility nationwide, engage consumers nationwide, and drive sales growth, to ensure that the brand’s presence is effectively communicated and experienced across various marketing channels and events within the traditional cuture and festivals space.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement brand activation strategies and plan to enhance brand visibility, engage consumers, and drive sales growth within the culture and traditional festivals space.
  • Oversees the planning, execution, and evaluation of promotional campaigns and events, to ensure successful and impactful brand activations that meet marketing objectives within the festival and culture space.
  • Manages the budget for brand activation activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, to optimize spending and achieve a higher return on investment for promotional activities in traditional and cultural events.
  • Works closely with the sales and marketing team to align brand activation efforts with overall marketing and sales strategies for cohesive and integrated marketing efforts that support business goals
  • Manages relationships with external vendors, agencies, and traditional partners and cultural buffs nationwide that are involved in brand activation activities, advertising, and sponsorship, to ensure high-quality execution and delivery of promotional campaigns.
  • Track and analyse the nationwide performance of brand activation activities, preparing reports and insights for management, to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and inform future marketing strategies.

Challenges:

  • The insecurity in the nation also driving in some high-risk states without security
  • No manpower or support staff
  • No weekends off

Planning & Organising: Micro:monthly planning for campaigns and activation strategies.

Framework & Boundaries:

  • This role is accountable for delivering impactful consumer engagement, resource optimization, and maintaining detailed performance tracking.
  • However significant decisions, budget allocations, and strategic changes require approval from senior management.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum B.Sc./HND in marketing or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years cognate experience
