We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Assistant

Location: Ogudu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other workplace issues
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
  • Support current and future business needs through effective talent development, engagement, motivation, and retention
  • Develop, monitor, and improve HR systems, policies, procedures, and overall strategies
  • Foster and maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Develop and maintain competitive pay plans and benefits programs
  • Identify training needs and design, implement, and monitor training programs
  • Provide decision support to management through HR metrics and reporting
  • Ensure full legal compliance across all HR practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 1 yearproven experience as an HR Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, databases, and HR metrics
  • People-oriented and results-driven mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to develop HR strategies and lead initiatives
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practice
