Position Overview
- The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall leadership, operational management, and strategic growth of Chairborne Security Co Ltd.
- The role ensures the effective deployment, supervision, and administration of security personnel across client locations while maintaining high service standards, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction.
- The GM will oversee operations, business development, finance, and human resource functions to ensure the company delivers reliable security manpower services and achieves its business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement business strategies aligned with the company’s vision and growth objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to departmental heads including operations, HR, and administration.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for expansion.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
- Ensure prompt resolution of operational issues and service complaints.
- Lead contract negotiations and renewals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements governing private security operations in Nigeria.
- Maintain adherence to safety standards, licensing requirements, and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations.
Risk and Security Management:
- Develop policies and procedures to improve security service delivery.
- Conduct operational risk assessments.
- Ensure proper incident reporting and investigation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Security Management, or related field.
- Professional certification in security management is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 – 10 years experience in security services, operations management, or manpower outsourcing.
- Experience managing large teams and multiple operational sites.
- Must have worked in a security company before.
