Ezion-Geber Energy Limited, a leading indigenous energy and infrastructure services company, is seeking qualified and experienced professionals to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Specialist

Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

• Performing routine inspections, troubleshooting malfunctions, and executing repairs on mechanical systems.
• Setting up new machinery, ensuring proper functionality, and testing equipment to meet safety regulations.
• Interpreting technical drawings, assisting operators, and providing guidance to junior staff.
• Analyzing equipment performance, recommending improvements, and upgrading systems to increase efficiency.
• Maintaining detailed logs of service activities, ordering parts, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
• Working with engineers, electricians, and other trades people to integrate mechanical systems.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Typically requires a high school diploma plus vocational training or an associate degree in mechanical engineering technology
• Previous work experience-minimum of 8 years offshore experience.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Deep understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and specialized machinery (e.g, Caterpillar engines or natural gas compressors).
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and basic.
• CAD/CAM software for interpreting designs.
• Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot complex mechanical failures under time constraints.
