Job Title: Operation and Risk Manager

Role Overview
- The Operations & Risk Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all operational activities of the company, while embedding strong operational risk controls.
- The role combines day-to-day execution with managerial oversight to ensure efficient processes, staff supervision, documentation integrity, and compliance with internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all operational activities of the finance company
- Supervise operations staff and assign duties appropriately
- Design, implement, and enforce operational processes and workflows
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of loan documentation, disbursements, and repayments
- Maintain proper custody and control of security and loan documents • Coordinate operational support for credit, treasury, and business teams
- Oversee office administration, vendors, facilities, and logistics Key Responsibilities – Operational Risk & Control
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across all processes
- Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and checklists
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and approval limits
- Monitor compliance with operational and documentation standards
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory reviews
- Escalate control breaches, incidents, and process failures to management
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND qualification in Business Administration, Accounting, Banking & Finance, or related field.
Experience Requirements:
- 6 - 10 years of experience in operations within a financial institution.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Prior exposure to operational risk or control functions is an advantage.
