We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Operations

Location: Lekki Epe Express Road, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Head of Operations manages all banking operations, ensuring seamless processes for retail, corporate, and treasury functions.
• The role drives efficiency, service quality, compliance, and risk mitigation across operations, including branches, back-office processing, and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee branch and central operations, including transaction processing, clearing, settlements, and payments.
• Develop operational policies and standard operating procedures in line with CBN regulations and best practices.
• Monitor operational KPIs, service level agreements (SLAs), and efficiency metrics.
• Manage third-party vendors for payment systems, ATM networks, and core banking support.
• Ensure internal controls, risk management, and anti-fraud measures are implemented effectively.
• Drive process automation, digital transformation, and efficiency initiatives.
• Lead operations staff development, performance management, and succession planning.

KPIs

• Transaction turnaround time and error rates
• Operational compliance with regulatory standards
• Operational cost efficiency
• Service quality metrics (customer complaints, SLA adherence).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations, Banking, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years in banking operations, with 5+ years at a senior management level.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Banking operations management experience with strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Analytical, strategic, and process improvement skills.
• Leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
