We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of IT

Location: Lekki Epe Express Road, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Head of IT ensures the bank’s technology strategy, infrastructure, and cybersecurity initiatives support business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Oversees core banking systems, digital platforms, data security, and IT compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the bank’s IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Manage core banking systems, digital banking platforms, payment solutions, and IT infrastructure.
• Implement cybersecurity policies, monitoring, and incident response programs.
• Ensure compliance with CBN IT regulations, NDIC requirements, and data privacy laws.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives and adoption of emerging technologies.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and IT service delivery.
• Mentor and lead IT staff, ensuring skill development and succession planning.

KPIs

• Core banking system uptime
• Cybersecurity incident frequency and resolution time
• Successful delivery of IT projects on time and budget
• Adoption of digital solutions by bank staff and customers.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; MSc/MBA preferred.
• Certifications: PMP, ITIL, CISM, or CISSP advantageous.
• 10+ years IT experience in banking, with 5+ years in leadership.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Deep knowledge of banking technology, digital banking, and cybersecurity.
• Strategic thinking, project management, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
