Eko Maintenance Limited is a rapidly growing Facility Management Company that specializes in the maintenance of high-rise building facilities with an office located in Victoria Island, Lagos.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Legal Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet contracts and provide appropriate legal advice.
- Evaluate information and processes to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Offer legal counsel and support on matters that may impact the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Oversee and manage employee-related issues in line with company policies and labor laws.
- Draft and manage official correspondence and legal documents.
- Maintain proper filing systems and handle company secretarial duties.
- Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and reporting systems comply with applicable laws and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B)
- Excellent contract drafting and legal writing skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, labor law, and regulatory compliance.
