Mikano International Limited is a Nigerian company in the power generation, real estate and construction sectors. This company offers sales, maintenance, assembly and distribution of power generation products, real estate development, and sales of construction equipment.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Purchasing Officer

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Purchasing Officer isresponsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring quality and quantity standards, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Processes: Handle the full purchasing cycle, including initiating purchase requisitions, raising purchase orders, and managing Contra entries.
• Inventory Control:Maintain daily records of materials received, disbursed, or transferred to other locations.
• Supplier Management:Source new suppliers, negotiate contracts for better pricing and terms, and evaluate supplier performance.
• Stock Management:Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment when items approach minimum limits.
• Reporting:Prepare and present weekly or monthly procurement reports, including analysis of cost-saving opportunities.
• Operational Support:Coordinate with departments like operations, maintenance, and engineering to ensure timely availability of materials.

Requirements

• BA /BSc / HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2years of demonstrated experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach.

Salary & Benefits

• N150,000 – N200,000 monthly.
• Leave allowance, HMO & Pension.
