Job Title: Division Officer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Objective
- Monitor and improve oil palm yields through effective agronomic practices, pest control, and irrigation management within the division.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plantation operations (land preparation, planting, harvesting, and post-harvest).
- Implement best agronomic and crop management practices.
- Drive yield optimization and maintain product quality standards.
- Manage pest and disease control using Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
- Monitor performance and prepare periodic reports.
- Control costs and manage divisional budgets effectively.
- Supervise irrigation and promote water efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with quality, HSE, and sustainability standards.
- Lead, supervise, and develop field teams to improve productivity.
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or related fields
- Experience: 3 - 7 years in oil palm plantation; at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role
- Certifications (Optional): CAT, CCA, CPAG.
