Description

• The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and monitoring deliveries, assigning dispatch riders/drivers to delivery orders, tracking movement, and ensuring timely and efficient distribution of items.
• The role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills to manage delivery schedules and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and prioritize delivery orders from various departments or platforms.
• Assign orders to dispatch riders or drivers based on workload, distance, and urgency.
• Monitor delivery movements in real time to ensure timely completion of all orders.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch riders, drivers, and internal teams to resolve delivery issues.
• Track and document all deliveries, delays, incidents, and exceptions.
• Maintain accurate logs of dispatch activities and submit daily/weekly reports.
• Ensure compliance with delivery protocols and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent service by addressing customer inquiries related to delivery status.
• Liaise with the operations, sales, and customer service teams for seamless order processing.
• Report vehicle or bike maintenance issues immediately to the appropriate department.
