We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Network Administrator

Location: Congo

Summary

  • The Network Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and optimization of the company’s network infrastructure.
  • He or she ensures the availability, performance, and reliability of internal communication systems by performing network installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Operational & Functional:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain network equipment.
  • Monitor the network infrastructure and respond to incidents.
  • Manage VLANs, VPNs, security policies, and access controls.
  • Install, configure, and update security solutions (antivirus, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
  • Ensure network availability and integrity, as well as service quality.
  • Document network architecture, procedures, and interventions.
  • Conduct performance tests and propose improvements.
  • Manage the backup and restoration of network configurations.
  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support to users and internal teams.
  • Participate in projects involving the evolution or migration of the IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards.
  • Participate in cybersecurity risk assessments.
  • Ensure network availability to support industrial operations and production continuity.

Profile Required
Education & Experience:

  • Bac+3/4 Degree in Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • At least five (5) years of professional experience in a similar role within an industrial setting.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
  • Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl, or other languages.
  • Knowledge of various operating systems and platforms.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, customer service orientation, and responsiveness.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle critical situations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
