Job Title: Night Duty Manager

Location: Ugbowor, Benin - Edo

Job Summary 

• The Night Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring smooth coordination across departments including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Bar, and Laundry.
• The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving ability, and a hands-on approach to maintain service standards, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring compliance with service standards and policies.
• Oversee Front Office activities, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest relations.
• Monitor Food & Beverage and Bar operations to ensure quality service delivery and proper closing procedures.
• Coordinate with the Laundry unit to ensure timely processing and availability of linens and guest items.
• Handle guest complaints, emergencies, and escalations promptly and professionally.
• Ensure safety, security, and proper handover procedures to the day management team.
• Prepare and submit daily/night reports on operations, incidents, and performance.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure discipline, efficiency, and teamwork across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 6-10 years experience in hotel operations, with exposure to Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Bar operations.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple departments during night shifts.
