We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Tanker Driver

Location: Ogbaku, Mbaitoli, Imo

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and reliable Tanker Driver to transport petroleum products (PMS, AGO, LPG, etc.) safely and efficiently.
  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism, and strict adherence to safety standards due to the sensitive and hazardous nature of the products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport petroleum products (petrol, diesel, gas) to designated locations
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips
  • Maintain accurate delivery and logbook records
  • Report any mechanical faults, incidents, or safety concerns promptly
  • Adhere strictly to traffic laws and defensive driving practices
  • Ensure proper handling of flammable products at all times

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years proven experience as a Tanker Driver (petroleum products preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license (appropriate class for heavy-duty/tanker vehicles)
  • Good knowledge of road safety regulations and tanker handling procedures
  • Strong understanding of the risks associated with transporting flammable products
  • High level of integrity, responsibility, and discipline
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Physically fit and medically sound

Added Advantage:

  • Relevant certifications in HSE or defensive driving
  • Experience in oil & gas or downstream sector.
