Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Job Summary

• We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to handle washing, drying, ironing, and proper care of linens, uniforms, and other fabrics within the facility.
• The successful candidate will ensure that all laundry items are cleaned and maintained according to hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, uniforms, and other fabrics.
• Sort laundry according to colour, fabric type, and washing requirements.
• Operate laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, and pressing irons.
• Ensure proper use of detergents and cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Inspect laundry items for damage and report issues when necessary.
• Ensure timely delivery of clean laundry to the appropriate departments.
• Follow hygiene and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is an advantage.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment properly.
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Honest, responsible, and hardworking.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
