We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Cross River
Reports to: Finance Manager / Head of Accounts

Main Function

• The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions.
• The role supports effective financial management and provides insights to aid business decision-making.

Role Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper cost control.
• Prepare and manage budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits by providing required financial data and documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure proper fund management.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:

• HND / B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
