Job Title: School Bursar / Accountant

Location: Amuwo Odofin, Lagos

Role Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Bursar / Accountant with proven experience to manage the school’s financial records and ensure accurate accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions, including school fees collection, receipts, and payments
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
• Monitor budgets and track expenditures
• Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts
• Manage payroll and staff salary processing
• Ensure proper financial controls and audit readiness
• Support school management with financial planning and reporting

Requirements

• HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a School Bursar or Accountant
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Good communication and organizational skills.
