Job Overview

• FMR Agency is recruiting an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee production and enforce premium quality standards within a luxury menswear tailoring environment.
• The ideal candidate must be a skilled male fashion designer or possess extensive hands-on experience in men’s garment production, particularly suits and traditional wear.
• This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to supervise tailors while ensuring all finished pieces meet high-end craftsmanship standards.
• You will play a critical role in maintaining brand quality, improving production processes, and ensuring timely delivery of perfectly finished garments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities while enforcing high-quality standards across all tailoring processes.
• Conduct quality inspections at all stages (pre-production, mid-production, fittings, and final output).
• Verify measurements, supervise fittings, and ensure accurate implementation of alterations.
• Monitor fabric usage, confirm material quality, and minimize waste during production.
• Supervise and manage tailors and production staff, ensuring discipline and high performance.
• Train team members on luxury finishing standards and improved craftsmanship techniques.
• Implement and maintain SOPs, track defects/rework, and drive continuous process improvement.
• Prepare weekly production and quality reports while monitoring KPIs (delivery timelines, quality rates, efficiency).
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in any discipline.
• Must be a male candidate with strong technical knowledge of men’s fashion tailoring.
• Proven experience as a fashion designer or in supervising production of men’s wear (suits & traditional attire).
• Strong understanding of garment construction, measurements, fittings, and finishing.
• Ability to identify defects and enforce high-quality standards.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational ability.
• Must reside in Surulere or nearby environs.

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly (slightly negotiable).
