Job Summary

  • Our client is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all maintenance and repair activities for a fleet of buses.
  • The role ensures maximum vehicle availability, safety, and operational efficiency while managing technicians and controlling maintenance costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Assign tasks to mechanics and monitor daily workshop operations.
  • Inspect and ensure quality of all repair work.
  • Supervise mechanics and other technical staff to ensure productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Coordinate spare parts requests and prevent misuse or wastage.
  • Monitor breakdowns and ensure quick resolution.
  • Control maintenance costs and ensure adherence to budget.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
  • Ensure workshop safety, cleanliness, and compliance with standards.

Key Requirements

  • Trade Test, Technical Diploma, and OND / HND / BSc in Automotive Engineering.
  • 5–7 years of experience in maintenance of buses, trucks, or heavy-duty vehicles.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in related industries such as logistics fleets, haulage.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, and diagnostics.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage workshop operations effectively.
  • Good reporting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.

Salary
N500,000 Gross Monthly.
