We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cashier

Location: Calabar, Cross River 
Reports to: Outlet Manager / Finance Supervisor
Direct Reports: None

Main Function

• The Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining proper records of all financial transactions.
• The role ensures efficient service delivery and accountability in all cash handling activities.

Role Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer payments (cash, POS, transfers).
• Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Balance cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the system.
• Handle customer inquiries related to billing and payments.
• Report discrepancies in cash or transactions immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
• Follow all financial procedures and company policies.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:

• Minimum of OND / HND in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

• 1–3 years experience as a cashier or in a similar role.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, or restaurant environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
