We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cost Control Supervisor

Location: Calabar, Cross River 
Reports to: Finance Manager / Head of Accounts
Direct Reports: Cost Control Assistant / Store Personnel

Main Functions

• The Cost Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing cost management processes, monitoring expenses, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
• The role ensures accurate cost tracking, minimizes wastage, and supports profitability through strong financial control.

Role Responsibilities

• Supervise cost control activities across operations.
• Monitor daily expenses and ensure proper documentation.
• Analyze cost reports and identify areas for cost reduction.
• Oversee stock usage and ensure alignment with consumption records.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile variances.
• Ensure compliance with cost control procedures and policies.
• Review purchase requests and verify cost accuracy.
• Prepare and present cost reports to management.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:

• HND / BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage.

Experience:

• 4 - 6 years experience in cost control, accounting, or finance roles.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in hospitality or restaurant operations is highly preferred.
