We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fundraising & Capital Sourcing Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source funding opportunities including bank facilities, structured finance, private equity, debt instruments, grants, and other alternative financing options.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, DFIs, fund managers, and financial advisors.
• Prepare and present funding proposals, investment decks, financial models, and business cases to prospective funders.
• Lead negotiations on funding terms, including interest rates, tenors, covenants, security structures, and repayment schedules.
• Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Executive Management to structure financing in compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
• Coordinate due diligence processes with lenders and investors, ensuring timely provision of required documentation.
• Monitor market trends, interest rate movements, and financing options to recommend optimal funding strategies.
• Support refinancing, restructuring, and optimization of existing facilities where required.
• Provide regular updates and reports to Management on funding pipeline, progress, and risks.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-3years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking, fundraising, treasury, or structured finance.
• Proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing funding deals.
• Strong understanding of financial modelling, credit analysis, and funding structures.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong network within banks, investment firms, and financial institutions (highly desirable).
