Job Title: Cost / Inventory Officer
Location: Surulere Lagos,
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across the campus
- Maintain accurate records of stock movement (inflow and outflow)
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Track and analyze costs related to inventory and operations
- Ensure proper documentation of all inventory transactions
- Work closely with procurement and accounts teams on stock-related matters
- Prepare inventory and cost reports for management review
- Identify and report variances, wastage, or inefficiencies
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- ACA/ACCA/MBA is an added advantage
- 1–3 years experience in inventory or cost management
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Knowledge of accounting or inventory management systems (e.g., Xero ERP) is an added advantage
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
