Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Health Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting health awareness, supporting community members with basic health services, and assisting in organizing and conducting health check-up programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate individuals and communities on health, hygiene, and disease prevention
- Mobilize people for health programs and full body check-ups
- Conduct basic health screenings (e.g., blood pressure, weight, BMI)
- Assist in coordinating home and community health check-ups
- Follow up with clients after check-ups and encourage compliance
- Maintain accurate records of clients and activities
- Refer serious health cases to appropriate healthcare facilities
- Support outreach campaigns and awareness programs
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND (Health-related field is an advantage) with 0-2 years experience
- Previous experience in community health or similar role is a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to speak local languages is an added advantage
- Must be willing to work in field/community settings
