Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and proactive Social Media Manager to lead and manage our social media presence across all relevant platforms.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing content strategies, managing daily social media activities, engaging with our audience, and using analytics to drive growth and brand visibility.
- This role requires creativity, initiative, and a strong understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
​Social Media Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the company's brand and business objectives.
- Plan and manage social media content calendars across all platforms.
- Identify opportunities to grow the company's online presence and improve engagement.
Content Creation & Publishing:
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content including posts, images, videos, and stories.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company’s tone, branding, and messaging guidelines.
Community Management:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions across social media platforms.
- Foster positive relationships with followers and customers.
- Escalate customer concerns or inquiries to the appropriate internal teams where necessary.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting;
- Track, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics including reach, engagement, and follower growth.
- Use insights and analytics to refine strategies and improve campaign performance.
- Provide periodic reports and recommendations to management.
Trend Monitoring & Innovation;
- Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Recommend innovative strategies to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking tools.
- Familiarity with content creation tools or design platforms is an advantage. Non‑Negotiable Requirements
- Demonstrated skill and hands-on experience in social media management.
- Proven ability to take initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of formal workplace etiquette and professional communication.
