Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and proactive Social Media Manager to lead and manage our social media presence across all relevant platforms.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing content strategies, managing daily social media activities, engaging with our audience, and using analytics to drive growth and brand visibility.
  • This role requires creativity, initiative, and a strong understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities
​Social Media Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the company's brand and business objectives.
  • Plan and manage social media content calendars across all platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the company's online presence and improve engagement.

Content Creation & Publishing:

  • Create, curate, and publish engaging content including posts, images, videos, and stories.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the company’s tone, branding, and messaging guidelines.

Community Management:

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions across social media platforms.
  • Foster positive relationships with followers and customers.
  • Escalate customer concerns or inquiries to the appropriate internal teams where necessary.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting;

  • Track, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics including reach, engagement, and follower growth.
  • Use insights and analytics to refine strategies and improve campaign performance.
  • Provide periodic reports and recommendations to management.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation;

  • Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Recommend innovative strategies to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
  • Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools or design platforms is an advantage. Non‑Negotiable Requirements
  • Demonstrated skill and hands-on experience in social media management.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of formal workplace etiquette and professional communication.

Mode of Work:

  • Virtual
  • The candidate should be flexible to work outside of official workers and on weekends if required and necessarily

Salary
N200,000 / month.
