We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sound Engineer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Technical Manager / Operations Manager
Direct Reports: Technical Sound Assistant

Main Function

• The Sound Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining audio systems to ensure high-quality sound during events, performances, and daily operations.
• The role ensures proper setup, operation, and troubleshooting of sound equipment.

Role Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sound equipment for events and daily use.
• Ensure clear and balanced audio output at all times.
• Conduct sound checks before events or performances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues promptly.
• Maintain and service sound equipment regularly.
• Work with DJs, performers, and technical teams to achieve desired sound quality.
• Monitor sound levels to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Keep records of equipment usage and maintenance.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:

• OND / HND in Sound Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 2–5 years experience as a sound engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience handling professional audio equipment and sound systems.
• Knowledge of mixers, amplifiers, and sound processing tools.
