The Law Crest LLP (“the Firm”) constantly provides legal, consulting and advisory services on energy matters in the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors of the energy industry. The Firm is at the fore-front of negotiating and drafting exploration and production contracts and joint ventures, obtaining necessary consents for acquisitions and transfers of interests as well as the creation of charges over oil and gas assets. We have also developed considerable expertise negotiating and preparing gas and petroleum products purchase and sales agreements and related contracts.

Our Firm’s services are also engaged for the preparation and review of service agreements; agreements for lease of vessels, tugboats and house boats; agreements for the lease of tank farms; anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) agreements; joint venture agreements; through-put lease agreements and gas purchase agreements amongst others.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Intern (Pre-NYSC)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Internship

Job Summary

  • A reputable law firm is seeking a Finance Intern to join its team.
  • This opportunity is ideal for a recent Accounting graduate who is yet to commence NYSC and is looking to gain practical experience while building strong accounting skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily accounting tasks and financial record keeping.
  • Support preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Help manage invoices, payments, and expense tracking.
  • Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
  • Provide general support to the finance team.

Requirements

  • A Degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) or First Class.
  • Must not have commenced NYSC.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools is an advantage.
  • Must be ready to resume immediately.

Salary
N40,000 per month.
