We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Information Technology Officer

Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT) 

Job Summary

• J.A.K Group is seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Specialist to oversee and manage all information technology functions within the organization.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT systems, supervising digital and creative operations, and ensuring seamless technology support across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all IT operations within the organization.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Monitor and maintain the organization’s CCTV systems, ensuring optimal functionality and security.
• Manage and troubleshoot network systems, internet connectivity, and server performance.
• Provide technical support to staff and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of graphics designers and other IT-related personnel.
• Ensure proper data management, backup, and cybersecurity measures are in place.
• Maintain and update the company’s website, software, and digital platforms.
• Implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure all systems are secure, up-to-date, and compliant with organizational standards.
• Manage IT inventory and recommend upgrades where necessary.
• Support digital projects and innovations within the organization.
• Perform any other IT-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking, system administration, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience in CCTV installation, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW) is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
