We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic

Location: Endo Village, Nasarawa
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of heavy-duty equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently
• Repair and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and transmissions
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical issues on-site or in the workshop
• Replace worn or damaged parts with new or refurbished components
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
• Assist in preventive maintenance planning
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Diesel engines
  • Hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Heavy equipment maintenance and repair
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot faults quickly
• Experience working with equipment such as:
  • Excavators
  • Dump trucks
  • Loaders
• Basic welding and fabrication skills (an advantage)
• Good understanding of safety procedures and protocols
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 Educational Requirements

• Minimum of Technical Certificate / Trade Test / OND in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Relevant certifications in heavy equipment maintenance (added advantage).
