Our platform is built on an Open Banking framework, to supports use cases such as automated bank statement retrieval, creditworthiness analysis, regulatory reporting, and digital application workflows.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description

• You should be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Work closely with business owners and product managers to define requirements and develop detailed test plans and test scenarios for API-driven fintech products.
• Create quality test cases while creating both positive and negative path scenarios for banking data integrations, KYC workflows, and credit decision engines.
• Execute manual testing and assist with automated testing where applicable across our LLM-powered data extraction pipelines.
• When a product does not perform within specifications or user experience, identify, recreate and log defects while recommending solutions and improvements.
• Validate data integrity across complex ETL pipelines processing unstructured Nigerian banking transaction descriptions.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, by evaluating, learning and implementing the tools to the benefit of the products.
• Participate in knowledge sharing with other QA team members.
• Perform any other duties that may be required.

Requirements, Competencies and Skillset

• Proven work experience in software testing (Fintech or banking experience strongly preferred).
• Good knowledge of quality assurance terminology and methods.
• Good knowledge of API testing (performance and/or security testing is a plus).
• Good knowledge of testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar API testing tools).
• Good, working knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Experience with test management tools (Jira, TestRail, or similar).
• Familiarity with Nigerian financial regulations (CBN guidelines, NDPR, KYC/AML requirements) is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders.
• Pays meticulous attention to detail—critical when testing financial data and credit decisions.
• Good research skills.
• Good time commitment/management skills.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn.
