Sales Force Consulting - Our client is a major Aluminum Manufacturing company that deals on diverse aluminum profiles with factory located in Onitsha but with its corporate office in Lekki-Lagos.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • As part of their restructuring plans, they urgently require the services of an Accountant in their Lagos office to achieve their short-term goals as follows

Responsibilities

  • General book-keeping ensuring that all financial transactions are captured through the coy’s accounting software
  • Carryout periodic and prompt reconciliations with bankers, debtors and creditors by monitoring account statements regularly to ensure they tally with the company’s records
  • Prepare allfinancial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

Qualifications

  • First Degree/HND in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of 5years accounting work experience
  • ACA/ANAN qualification is an advantage

Other Conditions:

  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Experience with financial reporting and audit processes.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing regulations and understanding the unique financial and regulatory challenges in these areas

Skill Set:

  • Ability to develop and implement cost saving measures
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Business Acumen
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or industry-specific software).
  • Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to improve business performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements specific to each industry, such as tax laws for hotels, environmental regulations for oil and gas, and licensing laws for betting companies.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
  • Ability to develop and implement cost saving measures
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
