Erkang Pharmaceuticals is a multinational manufacturer of pharmaceutical products starting up in Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria. Erkang Pharmaceutical is one of the largest manufacturers of Large Volume Parenterals (Infusion) and other products in the world.

Job Title: Company Driver

Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• A Company Driver isresponsible for safely transporting employees, clients, or goods using company vehicles while adhering to traffic laws.
• Key duties include planning efficient routes, performing vehicle maintenance checks (fuel, oil, tires), maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring timely, professional transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Customer Service: Maintain a professional demeanor when transporting clients or staff.
• Vehicle Cleanliness: Keep vehicle interiors and exteriors clean and orderly.
• Safe Transportation: Drive company vehicles to transport personnel or cargo securely.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and routine checks (brakes, oil, tire pressure) to ensure roadworthiness.
• Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries, considering traffic conditions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a company driver or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic laws.
• Excellent time management and punctuality.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical stamina for long periods of driving.

Salary
N100,000 / Month.
