Description
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that all designs are functional, safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing.
- The Architect will be actively involved throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with various construction professionals to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs and produce detailed drawings using CAD software and other design tools.
- Prepare conceptual designs, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Liaise with construction professionals to assess the feasibility of projects.
- Ensure designs comply with building regulations, environmental standards, and planning laws.
- Prepare and submit planning applications and necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to designs based on site conditions, budget, or client requirements.
- Specify project requirements, materials, and timelines.
- Prepare reports, proposals, and contracts for clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Strong design and drafting skills
- High level of creativity and innovation
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
