We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Lagos

Summary of Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Quality Control inspection related jobs in the Power Systems C.K.D Department

Main Functions

• Responsible for follow-up/analysis with production team on sample collection, and laboratory tests in the CKD pretreatment plant with a view to achieving good surface preparation and subsequently good protective coating.
• Able to make use of QC tools such as film thickness gauge, cross hatch test, tape rule, vernier Caliper etc., to carry out tests on painted materials and other related inspections.
• Carry out quality inspection in painting line, assembly and during Pre-Delivery Inspection.
• Responsible for the inspection of all data results gotten from pretreatment plant to correspond with the control.
• Responsible for the inspection of all painted products to ensure conformity with specification and liaise with Sectional Supervisors and QC supervisors for approval of same.
• Carry out jobs with correct equipment and approved methods.
• Responsible for detecting, investigating and reporting all non-conformity related to painting line and ensuring proper documentation of records.
• Shall abide by the safety rules relating to her operations and proper use of the Personal Protection Equipment provided.
• Responsible for taking care of Company’s QC tools under his possession.
• Compiles daily report on the completed job.
• Carry out other related duties as may be assigned by the QC supervisor.
• Report to QC supervisor.

Requirements

• Graduate of Engineering, Industrial Chemistry / Science related discipline with 1-2 years relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes.
