Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Transport Manager to oversee and manage all transportation operations for our organization.
• The ideal candidate must have a strong background in fleet management, logistics coordination, and route planning.
• Residency in or around Agbara is mandatory due to the operational demands of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transport operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and routing of company vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
• Monitor vehicle usage, maintenance, and fuel consumption to control operational costs.
• Manage transport staff, including drivers and logistics support personnel.
• Liaise with suppliers, clients, and other departments to ensure efficient delivery and pickup services.
• Maintain accurate transport records and prepare periodic reports for management.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
• Handle transport-related issues and resolve delays, breakdowns, or driver concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or BSc in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management systems and transport regulations.
• Must reside in or around Agbara (applications from candidates outside this area may not be considered).
