Job Title: Event Supervisor (Catering)

About the Role

• We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Event Supervisor to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of catering events.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations before, during, and after events while leading on-ground teams to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Preparation:

• Coordinate event logistics, timelines, and staffing requirements
• Work closely with the kitchen and operations team to ensure readiness of food, equipment, and materials
• Handle budgeting, cost control, logistics coordination, and vendor negotiations
• Implement structure, documentation, and operational workflow for event project
• Supervise packing, inventory checks, and dispatch of catering items

On-Site Event Management:

• Lead and supervise event staff, ushers, vendors, and support teams
• Ensure proper setup, presentation, and service standards are maintained
• Act as the main point of contact at event venues
• Handle client interactions professionally and resolve any issues promptly

Post-Event Coordination:

• Supervise breakdown, packing, and return of all equipment
• Ensure proper documentation of inventory and report any damages or shortages
• Provide post-event reports and feedback for continuous improvement

Team Leadership & Supervision:

• Assign tasks and monitor team performance
• Maintain discipline, motivation, and coordination among staff
• Ensure adherence to company standards and hygiene practices

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory/ managerial in event coordination, catering, or hospitality
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Confident, assertive, and able to take charge in fast-paced environments
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and late evenings
• Must reside in or around Gbagada (mandatory)
