Job Title: Operations and Reconciliation Officer

Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations and Reconciliation Officer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, maintaining operational efficiency, and promptly resolving discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of accounts and transactions
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and reports
• Prepare reconciliation reports and escalate unresolved issues
• Liaise with internal departments and external partners to resolve transaction-related issues
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconciliation activities
• Support audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 2–4 years’ experience in operations, reconciliation, or a similar role (preferably in banking, fintech, or financial services)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
• Good understanding of reconciliation processes and financial controls
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Requirements and Qualifications
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN or equivalent) is an added advantage
• Experience with reconciliation tools and systems.
