Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Reconciliation Account Officer to join our team in Ibadan.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records by performing regular account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and properly documented
- Reconcile bank statements with internal records
- Prepare reconciliation reports and present findings to management
- Monitor accounts to identify irregularities or inconsistencies
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial issues
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all reconciliations
- Support audits by providing required financial data and reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
- Experience in financial services or fintech is a plus.
Salary
- Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 / month.
- Competitive and based on experience.
