Job Title: Financial Reporting Manager (Receivables)

Location: Lagos

Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Reporting Manager (Receivables) to oversee all accounts receivable functions.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure timely invoice preparation, accurate client account management, revenue reporting, and effective reconciliation processes while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage invoice preparation and ensure timely billing to clients.
  • Oversee client creation and account management on the system (Orion).
  • Prepare and reconcile statements of account for major clients and agencies.
  • Monitor and update agencies’ debt status and provide regular reports to management.
  • Prepare and submit monthly revenue reports to the CEO/HOF.
  • Respond promptly to client queries, especially on returned invoices.
  • Ensure all reconciled client statements are reviewed and responded to within agreed timelines.
  • Provide management with agency transaction reports for decision-making.
  • Supervise all activities within the Receivables Unit.
  • Liaise with other departments to resolve client-related issues efficiently.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timely upload of sales revenue into the system (monthly deadline compliance).
  • Weekly updates of agencies’ debt status.
  • Submission of monthly revenue reports within deadlines.
  • Timely preparation of statements of account for major agencies.
  • Quick turnaround time on invoice corrections and client queries.
  • Response to reconciled statements within three working days.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems and reporting tools
