Job Summary
- A Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue by identifying leads, pitching products or services, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. They act as the link between a company and its customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to customers
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts
- Conduct market research and monitor competitors
- Follow up on leads and customer inquiries
Qualifications
- Minimum: OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree (varies by company)
- Experience: 0–1 years (entry-level roles often available)
- Extra advantage: Experience in marketing or sales.
Required Skills:
- Communication Skills: You must clearly explain products and persuade customers.
- Negotiation Skills: Closing deals and handling objections effectively is key.
- Customer Service: Keeping clients satisfied ensures repeat business.
- Confidence & Resilience:: Sales involves rejection—you must stay motivated.
- Time Management: Handling multiple clients and deadlines efficiently.
- Product Knowledge: Understanding what you’re selling inside-out.
